Track and Field Day 2022!

Get out your running shoes and your jump rope and get ready for the VHSA Track and Field Day! Sunday, May 15, 3-6 pm at the Morrill High School Track!

Please arrive a little early for hand-outs and to mark children’s hands with their age category’s color.

These events will be available in 4 age categories: 5-7, 8-11, 12-14, 15-19. Awards will be given for boys and girls in each age bracket. Kids are welcome to participate in all the events for their age.

Running Events: 100M, 200M, 400M, and Team Relay Race.

Field Events: Long Jump, Jump Rope (single), Jump Rope (being turned), Soccer Ball Kick, Soft Ball Throw.

Little Kid Events: Face Painting, Bubbles, Bean Bag Toss, Jump over the Rope.

This event is open to all home school children, please invite any home schoolers you know!

Non-members please RSVP to valleyhsa@gmail.com. Non-members will need to sign a waiver upon arrival. (Members already signed a waiver in their VHSA membership.)

Cost is $5 per family for VHSA members and $7 per family for non-members. Please bring cash or check made out to VHSA when you arrive. (pre-pay by paypal is also fine.)

We will be doing the running events first, and then the field events in stations. We will need parent volunteers to help monitor the races, and then to man each of the stations.

Please register all attending family members on the sign-up link in the calendar, and if you can volunteer, please sign up for a volunteer spot/s on the volunteer link, also in the calendar entry.
