Swim Classes Open to VHSA Members!

“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be part of opening to the door to the aquatics world.  Many of you are probably like me….as an adult I can barely stay afloat let alone look graceful as I attempt swimming in the pool. (Secret:  Here is an area that my children actually know more than me.) Many years ago my children were introduced to swimming through a home school class program similar to the one the Splash Foundation is offering our home school group in our spring semester.
Swimming is a life time sport!  Swimming has been a wonderful exercise activity for our children.  All of my kids started out with lessons at the Splash;  joined the Scotts Bluff Torpedoes, where they have enjoyed swimming competitively, our older girls have went on to swim with the Seacats in high school,  have become certified lifeguards and have had training to instruct swimming classes.
Knowing how to swim can “save” your life.  We want our children to have a healthy knowledge of how to staying safe in and around water, and as parents we are all concerned about our children getting out an enjoying exercise and living healthy lives.
If you would like more information about these swimming lessons, joining Scotts Bluff Torpedoes, or taking a life guard training course, I would love to get you connected.”
