Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, guest post by Thea Boerkircher
Hands on! This museum was full of fun and educational hands on activities. Some of the boys grouped together to form a band. Pods with musical instruments and screens taught you to play drums, guitar, and piano. Order up, some of the younger girls served up some yummy food at the diner. We got to see the strength of our children as they took turns lifting a piano. The Tornado Chamber blew the kids away with winds reaching 80 mph. This was a day that was enjoyed by parents and kids alike. Not only was this a fun time with the family, but it was great as a parent to see the kids learning and discovering new things. The time spent together is priceless. Going to Harvest Farms afterwards was the perfect ending to a fun filled day.
