International Homeschool Spirit Week!
Each year members of VHSA participate in International Homeschool Spirit Week. The party online includes freebies for homeschoolers, as well as a facebook page for sharing our home-school spirit!
We kicked off the International Homeschool Spirit Week with a bang this Monday and Tuesday. Monday was Backwards Day, and some of our families shared these photos with us:
Tuesday was our coop day, but it was also Favorite Sports Team Day! Kids showed up for co-op in their favorite jerseys, and it was a blast. We had a fantastic co-op day as well, finishing it off with a visit from the Snowie Bus (Snow-cones!).
This week’s co-op went even better than our first day of classes two weeks ago. We had new chore assignments so cleaning up was a breeze, and
the kids all seemed to know a little bit better where they were going as they shifted from class to class. Both the science Labs class and the A&P class were studying the biology and God’s design of a cell. The private music lessons were moved to different rooms of the building be less of a distraction the other classes with their joyful noises! The choir had a great time, and has picked a date and time for their final program. For more information about that, please email vhsacoop at gmail dot com.
Once again we are blessed by the way our co-operative has blossomed. We pray that God will be glorified in all we do! Will you join us in praying for our students, teachers, and classes?
